Plain-English status: TableSpring is pre-release. The public site collects waitlist signups. The application is available only to invited beta participants for testing. It is not yet offered for live restaurant operations, diner orders, payments, or paid subscriptions.
1. Who we are and what these terms cover
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) are an agreement between you and TableSpring (“TableSpring,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They apply when you visit tablespring.com, join our waitlist, or use an account that we have invited into the internal beta (together, the “Services”).
Product descriptions, mockups, pricing, launch dates, and feature lists on the marketing website explain what we are building. They are not a promise that a feature is available, an offer of paid service, or a service-level commitment. We may change the product before release.
By using the Services, joining the waitlist, or creating a beta account, you agree to these Terms. If you use the beta for a business, you represent that you are authorized to act for that business.
2. Eligibility
The business-facing beta is for people who are at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. The public website is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not submit information to us.
3. The waitlist
Joining the waitlist gives us permission to use your email address for TableSpring waitlist, beta-access, and launch communications. It does not guarantee an invitation, a launch date, a price, or access to any feature. You can unsubscribe using the instructions in an email or by contacting hello@tablespring.com.
4. Invitation-only internal beta
Beta access is personal to the invited participant, may be limited or revoked at any time, and may contain incomplete, experimental, or changing features. Unless we expressly approve a pilot in writing, the beta is for evaluation and testing only.
- Do not rely on the beta for live restaurant operations or business continuity.
- Do not accept real diner orders, payments, or other production transactions.
- Do not upload real customer lists, payment information, health information, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information.
- Use sample or appropriately de-identified data when testing menus, checkout, ordering, or reporting flows.
- Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
The beta is currently free. We will not charge you unless we first present separate pricing and obtain your affirmative agreement to a paid plan.
You may send suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback. You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use that feedback to develop and improve TableSpring, without an obligation to compensate you.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the Services to:
- break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
- upload malicious code or harmful, deceptive, or unlawful content;
- probe, disrupt, overload, scrape, or attempt unauthorized access to our systems;
- access another participant’s account or data without permission;
- circumvent security, access, or rate limits; or
- represent that an experimental feature is approved for production use.
6. Your content and test data
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as restaurant details, menus, descriptions, logos, and photos. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, copy, format, display, and otherwise process that content only as needed to operate, secure, test, and improve the beta.
You represent that you have the right to submit the content and that our permitted use will not violate another person’s rights. You are responsible for reviewing any menu, price, allergen, or restaurant information before treating it as accurate.
7. TableSpring ownership
We and our licensors own the Services, software, designs, documentation, and trademarks. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Services during the beta. They do not transfer any intellectual-property rights to you.
8. Third-party services
The Services depend on third-party infrastructure and may link to or interoperate with third-party services, including authentication, hosting, storage, and Google business lookup services. Their availability and their own terms and privacy practices are outside our control. Our Privacy Policy explains when information is handled by service providers on our behalf.
9. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Services at any time and may ask us to close a beta account. We may suspend or end access to protect the Services, comply with law, respond to a violation of these Terms, or change or end the beta. Where practical, we will give invited participants notice before ending routine beta access.
10. Beta disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT PROMISE THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR PRODUCTION USE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits a right that cannot legally be limited.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TABLESPRING WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM THE SERVICES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). This limit does not apply where applicable law does not permit it.
12. Changes, general terms, and contact
We may update these Terms as the product changes. We will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change materially affects an invited beta participant, we will also provide reasonable notice through the beta or by email. Continued use after the new effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the extent needed, and the rest will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer your beta access or these Terms without our written permission.
